Etched in Stone for a Thousand Good Reasons

"Sir"

The word "Sir" made the taboo list early in our research when it became obvious that calling a subject "Sir" helped establish an uneven playing field.

The persuader sounds and feels
subservient to the subject.

Counselor-style coercive persuading requires as even a playing field as is possible in order to create a co-operative climate between the parties.

Never say the word Sir out loud within earshot of anyone who has the power to approve your plan of action!
