Etched in Stone for a Thousand Good Reasons

"Excuse me"

"Excuse me" is an insidious expression of apology that is over used heavily by the untrained persuader because it is mainly spoken unconsciously.

Neuro-linguistic programming theory states expressions like "excuse me" work against the persuader by reinforcing a weak image projection.

Humble Is Not Persuasive!

Never apologize in front of anyone who can affect the outcome of your proposal, especially over a trivial act like standing in the wrong place.

Instead of "excuse me" or "I'm sorry" substitute something like "I'll move over here, OK?" Work on this one hard, we are all susceptible to apologizing out loud unconsciously, way too often.
