Etched in Stone for a Thousand Good Reasons

"Basically"

"Basically" heads up a group of words that serve only to cloud the truth and leave a subconscious impression in the prospect's mind that he would be happier if we were more sure of ourselves.

Look at another one ;
the word "try".
How strong does this sound?

"We'll try  to do a good job
for your firm, Mr. Jones"

"Well, Basically, the program
does this and that..."

Don't tell him what your program does basically,
just tell him what the program does, period!
